Root Canal Awareness Week

The American Association of Endodontists advocates for the valuable role that endodontists play on the dental team. Root canal specialists who bring high-quality care, compassion and comfort to patients deserve recognition for their service and commitment.
Root Canal Awareness Week (March 25 - March 31, 2012) is a national effort to raise awareness of endodontists, so that patients and general dentists know to contact a specialist when a root canal is needed. It is an excellent time to explain the important role endodontists play in dental health, and to teach the public that root canals should not be feared.
Members can check out the Member Planning Guidefor information to help you work with local media, suggestions to promote your practice, aRoot Canal Awareness Week poster, logos for your website and promotions, and much more. Use Root Canal Awareness Week to inform the public that root canal treatment isn't the myth they have come to accept and that endodontists can provide a relaxing and virtually pain-free experience. It is also a good time to build partnerships with general dentists to emphasize the high-quality patient care you provide.
